Luxor & Aswan
Both banks of Luxor in two focused days, with an optional dawn balloon flight.
The journey
Luxor holds roughly a third of the world's ancient monuments, and two well-planned days will show you the best of them. East Bank temples on day one, the necropolis on day two — and if you are willing to be awake at 4am, the balloon flight over the West Bank at sunrise is the single best view in Egypt.
Day by day
Karnak and Luxor temples with your guide, and the Luxor Museum in the evening when it is cool and quiet.
An optional balloon flight at dawn, then the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Deir el-Medina and the Colossi of Memnon.
